Good find! And thank you. I'm planning a big revamp of the site, along with its styling and such, so I can really call it my own. Hopefully that'll happen in the next few weeks.

Alright, every app has permission to run under 2 "owners:" the person who purchased the app, and Apple. Installous and/or AppSync allow you to essentially act as an app admin (i.e. Apple). By uninstalling these apps, I don't think you have permission to edit them any more. You can't update them regardless, as the appstore checks for updates only for the user signed in (i.e. you), and thus any app that isn't owned by you can't be updated like this. Installous has a feature that allows you to look for updates of your cracked apps to help fix this issue.

Now then, things you should try:
1. Reinstall Installous and AppSync, see if that'll let you uninstall these apps. Who knows, you might not get those API issues any more.
2. Try removing the apps from iTunes. I can't promise it'd work, but it's worth the shot.

I'll email you this time, but know that I'm not tech support, and everyone benefits from these issues as much as you do. For that reason, I like to keep the comments on the site.

I'd say you should do a little research and see if you'd actually use the features Jailbreaking offers before you go ahead and jailbreak.

Haha wow, I'm really flattered. I'm glad I could help. I honestly got frustrated with all of the guides out there that breezed over some of the finer details that the average person would overlook. Don't hesitate to contact me (technoheads.org/contact) if you ever have problems.

You sincerely kick some major ass. I am completely and totally illiterate when it comes to technology. I bought my iPod from a friend and the music was just really bad white rap so I went to restore it and it's been broken for weeks. Thank you so much! I will definitely look for more posts by you if I have problems in the future. I especially appreciate how you spelled everything out. Some people just post things like Software ###letter##, download ##letter, ect., and I have no idea what any of that means. So thanks a lot. If you're ever in Wisconsin, I'll give you a job recommendation for the tech department at my work, haha.
