Linux Mint 7 with Virtual Box… Cross your fingers.
Today, I’m installing Linux Mint 7 via Virtual Box, by Sun Microsystems. Virtual Box is free software that allows you to create ‘virtual’ computers within your own computer, letting you install multiple operating systems on your computer. Codenamed “Gloria,” Linux Mint 7 promises to be “an elegant, up to date and comfortable GNU/Linux desktop distribution.” It was released laste last month, and is based off of Ubuntu’s “Jaunty Jackalope” (verion 9.04). Anyways, wish me luck, and I’ll be sure to make an installation tutorial and a nice review on it.
