To make an incredibly long story short, I’ve decided to promote my blog with a contest of sorts. I’ve been looking for prizes and have only been able to manage to scrape up some user accounts for demonoid.com, the exclusive torrent community, and a card worth 10 free song downloads from essentialplaylist.com, the “best of the best selections” music site.
If anyone can think of or has some prizes they’d be willing to donate to my giveaway, please contact me either by comment, via the contact link in the upper right hand corner of your screen, or through twitter (@techno_heads).
This is interesting, and clearly has nowhere near the amount of hits it deserves. Its a cellist and a beatboxing flute (the latter of which I’ve seen more and more of recently) playing in the Union Square metro station. Its interesting, so check it out. Here’s a link to most of their videos strung together in a playlist.
Its good, I promise.
I’m surprised at how many people honest-to-goodness haven’t heard of this band. I’m willing to bet you that you have. Want a hint?
Read more. Its a good album.
I gave up. As you may or may not know, my highest hitting youtube video, a tutorial on how to control your computer remotely with an iPod Touch/iPhone, was taken down because Youtube’s contract with Warner Music Group expired. I wasn’t the only one affected: thousands of videos were removed or muted. At first, I thought “Ok, I’ll just wait for a new contract to be written up and published.” Nothing has even started to happen on this front so far, and finally, I used Youtube’s Audioswap feature to swap the audio of my video (Which was “Reset” by Mutemath) with some arbitrary electronic song from Youtube’s Audioswap library. Sadly, everyone watching my video now sees an advertisement for the song about 10 seconds into it, and the song doesn’t fit with the video any more. Fantastic.
I just thought this video was too good to pass up.
To be honest, I’ve never seen stop animation quite like this.
Let me know what you guys think. I personally have never heard of this artist before, but he looks like he’s worth investigating. You can check out his myspace here, and his iTunes page here.
For the record, the video above is in high quality, so the song plays better (trust me, its worth letting it load). If you’re anxious, view the original quality version here.
Here’s my newest youtube video.
You can, say, share it with friends and stuff by copying the following code and pasting it in a blog, forum, or any HTML field.

Spread it around. I’m sure people will love it.
